Richard Adebayo
Pastor · Youth, families and the food bank
Richard Adebayo
Pastor since 2019
His story
Faith With Its Sleeves Rolled Up
Richard joined Cedarfold to run the youth group for “one year” — that was 2019, and the young people have refused to let him leave since. Under his watch the Friday food bank has grown from six hampers to forty, and the youth club from a dozen teenagers to eighty.
Raised in Lagos and trained in Manchester, he brings warmth, laughter and an unshakeable conviction that no one in the valley should go hungry — in body or in spirit.
What Richard oversees
- Youth club, children’s groups and family services
- The Friday food bank and harvest collections
- Rise and Shine mornings and school assemblies
His favourite verse
“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
Micah 6:8
