GriefShare: Loss Support Group
Worship Center · November 4, 2026 · 16:00 – 18:00 · Weekly for 13 weeks
About this gathering
You Don’t Have to Grieve Alone
GriefShare is a gentle, weekly circle for anyone who has lost someone they love — whether last month or ten years ago. Each evening combines a short filmed story, quiet conversation, and time to simply be with people who understand.
There is no pressure to speak, no homework, and no “right way” to grieve. Many arrive nervous and leave lighter — and many stay for tea long after the evening ends.
What to expect
- 1.Welcome and tea (16:00). Arrive any time from 15:45; the kettle is always on and seats are saved for newcomers.
- 2.A short film (16:20). Counsellors and fellow grievers share honest stories of loss, anger, loneliness and slowly returning hope.
- 3.Unhurried conversation (17:00). Small circles of six to eight, led by trained facilitators. Share as much or as little as you wish.
From a past member
“After my husband died I couldn’t set foot in a church without crying. This group let me cry — and then, week by week, taught me how to laugh again.”
